CALL FOR PAPERS — INDUSTRIAL TRACK
The Industrial Track of SIGMOD 2027 covers all aspects of innovative commercial or industrial-strength data management systems (including open source) and solutions. We also welcome novel applications of data management systems and experience in applying recent research advances to problems relevant to the database industry.
Each submission must include at least one author with a non-academic affiliation.
Submission Guidelines
We accept full papers (up to 12 pages + references). The papers should be prepared using the latest standard ACM paper format (see detailed instructions below). Submissions should be uploaded at the CMT submission site.
Submissions to the industrial track are not double-anonymous. Each submission must include all author names and affiliations. Changes to the author list after the paper submission deadline are not permitted. In case an exceptional situation arises necessitating a change in the author list, the situation needs to be explained via email to the industrial track chairs, who will decide whether to approve the change. Authors are encouraged to contact the industrial track chairs if they need clarification regarding the suitability of their work to this track.
Review Process
Each submission is reviewed by members of the industrial track program committee. Reviews are released to authors on January 26, 2027. Papers may be invited to submit a revision responding to the reviews, due February 23, 2027. The revision will be a lightweight shepherding process. The final decision is sent on March 4, 2027. Authors of papers that are not invited to revise receive their decision with the reviews.

The conference takes place June 13–19, 2027 in Huntington Beach, CA, USA.
Formatting
The ACM template changed in 2017. Make sure you are using the latest version. Industrial papers must follow
the ACM Proceedings Format, using either the sample-sigconf.tex or
Interim layout.docx template provided at
https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template
for LaTeX (version 2e) or Word, respectively. The margins, inter-column spacing, and line spacing in the
templates must be kept unchanged. Any submitted paper violating the length, file type, or formatting
requirements will be rejected without review.
Duplicate Submissions
A paper submitted to the SIGMOD 2027 industry track cannot be under review for any other publishing forum or presentation venue, including conferences, workshops, and journals, during the time it is being considered for SIGMOD. Furthermore, after you submit a paper to SIGMOD, you must await the response from SIGMOD and only re-submit elsewhere if your paper is rejected or withdrawn at your request from SIGMOD. This restriction applies not only to identical papers but also to papers with a substantial overlap in scientific content and results. A paper rejected or withdrawn from the SIGMOD 2027 research track can be submitted to the industry track for the same conference if the other conditions for a submission hold.
